Advancements in Daily Masonic Progress
Deepening your Masonic knowledge is important. However, finding consistent and engaging ways to learn every day can be tough. To tackle this, I've introduced a Podcast and Youtube Channel.
Brethren,
I’d like to take the opportunity to share that “Daily Masonic Progress” is making a number of advancements and innovations that will be of great value to all Masons.
Men today want to learn in different ways and in different formats.
Deepening your Masonic knowledge is important. However, finding consistent and engaging ways to learn every day can be tough. To tackle this, I've introduced a Podcast and Youtube Channel, providing fresh and engaging content for those interested in Masonry, aiming to enrich your daily learning experience.
But, while content will mirror this newsletter, there something big I will be doing especially for these new formats.

For the past 43 weeks, I've been dedicated to sending out this email newsletter nearly every day. But, reaching everyone effectively and deeply with Masonic teachings through email alone has its limits. Introducing a Podcast and Youtube Channel marks a significant step forward, offering more dynamic ways to explore and understand our ceremonies' principles and lessons, enhancing daily Masonic knowledge growth.
Our ritual's words are just the beginning of a deeper journey into wisdom. Many come to Freemasonry seeking self-improvement, only to feel their journey stops short after receiving their Master Mason certificate, echoing the sentiment, "I learned nothing." Daily Masonic Progress focuses solely on bridging this gap, providing the tools and insights to ensure our ceremonies fulfill their promise of enhancing the virtues of good men.
At the start of the year, W Bro Michael Arce, host of the Craftsmen Online podcast – the only one with a 5-star rating endorsed by the Grand Lodge of New York – reached out to me. He proposed a challenge: to transform Daily Masonic Progress into a podcast, aiming for a significant impact. Inspired by the "Daily Stoic" Youtube Channel's success, and already on a similar path, the idea was to adopt their effective model to enhance our Masonic educational outreach.
Each Daily Newsletter (this) will also be produced in video & audio format, each is about 5 to 10 minutes in length. They are set to follow a week behind this email newsletter.
Balancing the production of daily articles and videos is a challenge, given my full-time job, family responsibilities, and local Masonic duties. Therefore, the decision to schedule content with a one-week delay allows for quality contributions without compromising other important commitments, thus, living up to the lessons & principles taught by the 24 Inch Guage.
But, every Thursday is where there is going to be something new that is exclusive to both Youtube and the Podcast and I am calling it “Deep Dive”.
"Deep Dive" is a dedicated episode for thoroughly exploring specific topics & principles. The brief format of a 5-minute read, video, or daily episode often falls short in doing justice to complex subjects, like the nuanced principles behind the Working Tools. In "Deep Dive," we'll take the necessary time to fully explore and explain these concepts, ensuring a comprehensive understanding beyond the surface level.
New Episodes of Deep Dive will be available every Thursday!
I would like to thank W Bro Michael Arce and the team at Craftsmen Online for making this advancement & innovation possible. But, there are two people who I’d like to dedicate Daily Masonic Progress to.
The first is my Wife Caitlin who is amazing and let’s me put time into not only this newsletter by also Freemasonry. She embodies Wisdom, Strength and Beauty.
For the second dedication, while I am fortunate enough to have many brethren who are mentors, guides & friends and who I do dedicate my own masonic progress & journey to (Paul, Khris, Les, Derek, Stephen & Garry), there is one esteemed Brother who is the catalyst not only for this newsletter, but for my active contribution to the betterment of the Craft - MW Bro Dr Gregory H. Levenston.
